So it's like a nick name? I just noticed mine is 'Olu 'olu'. I always thought these little texts were nick names/slogans users had picked! Then today, 10 years after joining, realized I have one too! Where's my Hawaiian dictionary? Hope it doesn't mean "Lazy fiddler" or "He who writes bad checks"!
'Olu 'olu to ya'll!

Ah Duke, that is because you went from highest post count to lowest. Since you start with zero posts and counts go up, then you've got A-L-O-H-A!

BTW, thanks for answering the question.

Here it is in the FAQ: What are the Hawaiian words underneath members usernames?

Aloha Gordon

The "Olu'olu" under your name is one of a number of brackets Andy has installed to signify the number of "posts" you have accumulated.

It goes something like this:

Ahonui = 2000 plus posts

Ha'aha'a = 1000-1999 posts

Olu'olu = 500-999 posts

Lokahi = 100-499 posts

Akahai = 1-99 posts
