Oh... and I forgot to mention...

Kiwini did a bang-up job of covering the sound for the second half of the show. Also I was happy to meet his mother who was sitting with Kapuna Auntie Ella.

Have a good time out in the islands Kiwini!

Aloha from Honolulu,

In between the mai tais, coconut trees, and sandy beaches, I have limited access to the net. But I managed to tap into a wire hanging from a coconut tree and walla! I gotta make it quick coz the tide is rising.

Just wanted to say thanks to Stephen, Dave and everyone who played that night. It is a wonderful venue and cant wait to get back to the open mic. Mom had nothing but great things to say about the whole night. We definitely felt the Aloha Spirit and not a moment to soon as we departed the very next morning.

Lawrence, thanks for having faith in me while running the board for the very first time.

My first week here has been uneventful music wise but hope to get into the swing of things. Family greetings are always fun and you have to make sure you don't leave anyone out oddawise, lookout!

I'll keep you posted as the ebb tides allow. Apparently we brought the sunshine to Hawaii as it has barely rained since we got here. A far cry from the 40+ days of rain prior to us arriving.

A hui hou, malama pono,
Kiwini
