Does anyone remember what's the website that had sound examples of different ukulele strums? Months back came across it but couldn't find it again. (What's a bookmark?) Anyway I'm wondering what's your double strum pattern. One suggested is an up, down, down, down. I'm trying an up-down-up down down. Is there a standard?

I don't know if there is a standard, but this is the technique I learned from Keoki Kahumoku...
up (index finger), down(index finger), down(thumb), up(index finger), down(index finger)..... It's a great hula strum. Hope this is what you were looking for. |

Sometimes when the grey matter ages you forget that you did "bookmark". But you just don't remember what folder you placed it in. So go to http://mele.home.att.net and there you'll find a menu with strumming examples. Thanks Rob for your strum. Now I'll have three to work on.
