This week Pakele Live! is honored to host yet another CD release party! The Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning group Na Kama (Eric Lee, Brian Mersberg, and Danny Naipo) is celebrating their 10th anniversary with the release of their beautiful new Christmas album “E Ola Ke Ali’i – The Na Kama Christmas Collection – Volume I.”

Special guests at the CD release will include Kapena (with Kelly Boy De Lima and family), and a hula halau will be performing, too! The fun begins at 6 p.m., but if you’re planning to be there in person, try to get there early for the best seats – I’m getting a number of calls about this one!

Here's the info: Thursday December 11, 6-8 p.m. HST, in the Pakele Lounge at the Ala Moana Hotel (410 Atkinson Dr., Honolulu). All ages, FREE, and you can park free next door in the Ala Moana Shopping Center. (Take the pedestrian ramp from the parking lot to the hotel).

You can also watch live online at: http://pakelelive.com/. Those in Japan can tune in at http://www.j-wave.co.jp/

If you watch online, please don’t forget to email the show at pakele @ lava.net and let them know you’re watching [and from what city]!

PLEASE NOTE: After this show, Pakele Live! will be taking a break - but we will return on January 8, 2009, when we’ll be hosting yet another CD release party!

Aloha, and Mele Kalikimaka!

Lynn

I think Na Kama is just super. So much fun to see and listen to.

haunts me sleeping and waking."
