Uke Time is Fun Time! And now, it's time for Funtime UKE-A-RAMA!
Here are all of your favorites from the `Ukulele Happy Hour! Hear "Apache" the way it was meant to be played-- on an `ukulele! Thrill to the story of King Edward's abdication. Relax to the enchanting "Sweet Singing Bamboo." Do the stroll to Santo & Johnny's immortal "Sleepwalk." And please, don't play "A-11"... unless you play it on the `ukulele.
Every cut features the `ukulele, along with Hawaiian steel guitar, slack key, bass, and percussion. `Ukulele used include Dennis Lake's "Island Jazz," Mya-Moe's killer mahogany Resonator, Kei Lani "Lili`u," an vintage "Maybelle" banjo uke, a couple ukes made at the Aloha Music Camp --- even an electric Tele-style uke.
The songs come from all over the world... or at least Bakersfield, Britain, the Bahamas, Brazil (or is it Portugal?) and Hawai`i. It's not just Whirled Music, it's a Uke-A-Rama!
Recorded in glorious Stereophonic Sound!
