I just got my Zoom H4n so I rigged up a four way comparison with my H2, the Fostex FR2-LE, and my home recording rig.

Then I tried the H4n with external mics (it has XLR inputs and 48v phantom) and compared it that way to the FR2-LE and my "studio" setup.
