Yeah. Very interesting, indeed. I recall some talk about it here sometime back. Definitely space age. A truss can either amplify or damp vibrations, so ... oh, hell, I don't know. With a pickup, maybe you don't need a body on a steel.

That's a radical design. But like Les Paul's original "Log", it doesn't need a body to amplify the sound, only the parts necesary to hold the pickups, strings and tuners.
