Hey Bay Area Taropatchers, the monthly Alameda Kanikapila is this Saturday, October 22, 6:00P-9:30P:

This has been a well attended kani, averaging between 20-30 participants. All levels are welcomed, as well as hula dancers and spectators. Admission is free, and they sell an ono plate lunch dinner (usually $7.00), beverages, and baked goods which help to support the halau.
Bring your instruments, He Mele Aloha songbook, and extra copies of songs that you'd like to share that are not in the Mele book. Mahalo to Leo Baculpo for organizing the kani and Kumu Lani Cid-Iulio for graciously offering her studio for us to jam in.
