Aloha Kakou,

My incredibly talented husband -KIMO KNOX- will be a teacher/performer at the Kaua'i Music Festival 2013 in July.

Kimo is an expert in "Alternative Tunings"...
He has recorded in 28 different tunings on 5 CDs!
We "Kimo & Ka'iulani" are currently working on CD #6.

Kimo Knox has also been a judge in the "Na Hoku Hanohano Awards" for the past two years.

Check out his KMF Workshop on "Alternative Tunings for Guitar (in Song Writing)":

"Alternative Tunings for Guitar (Kimo Knox)
In this workshop, we will explore some techniques for using alternative tunings to drive our creative process. We will see how the tuning can drive new chord patterns, melody, harmonics and bass patterns. We will see how two or more tunings can be combined to get a completely new tuning and create a new approach to a song. We will also see how alternative tunings are important in brass slide playing, with important roots in Chicago Blues. "

We hope to see you on Kaua'i!
A Hui Hou... :)

Me Ke Aloha,
Ka'iulani
