Where is the best place to find the tabs for Hawaii aloha. I have one in a book that is pretty advanced. I could use a simple version or the chords so I can put something together. Thanks
You can find the chords here, in the key of F: www.boiseukulelegroup.com/music.html For taropatch tuning (open G) add one letter to each chord shown. The structure is basic I-IV-V, so the chords will be G-C-D (or D7) and the vamp will be II-V-I or A7, D7, G.
The most basic approach would be to use a picking pattern for all three chords while you sing. As an instrumental, I usually find it easier to noodle around inside each chord shape and find the melody rather than learn something by rote from printed tab. You learn more that way and it sticks with you better. Good luck!
