Kumu Hula Māpuana de Silva and Hālau Mōhala ‘Ilima present the 30th Annual HOLOMUA KA NO'EAU concert, a traditional hula performance showcasing both hula kahiko and hula ‘auana that address the theme of “wahine ‘au i ke kai” – women who navigate the tides of change. This concert offers a sneak preview of Hālau Mōhala ‘Ilima's upcoming performance at the Merrie Monarch Festival in the Hālau's record 32nd year of performing there. HOLOMUA KA NO'EAU will feature the music of Chad Takatsugi Mā with a guest appearance by Manu Boyd’s Hālau o ke ‘A‘ali‘i Kā Makani.
