I know that Dennis would never post this here, but I am proud to be his friend, and feel like some of you would enjoy this quote from Keola Beamer:

"I played my Dennis Lake Po Mahina double ported koa guitar in concert for the very first time last night. Its beautiful tone swept the theatre like a warm breeze. After I played the first few chords at sound check, a hush came over the back of the room where the tech people were. The sound engineer told me it was the most beautiful guitar he had ever heard. I whole-heartedly agree. It has a gorgeous depth on the low end and a sweet, pure clarity in the highs. I feel like something truly beautiful has come into my life."

Dennis has a picture of Keola and the new guitar on his web site

Wow! What a comment! For such a small population, I am constantly amazed at the depth and diversity of talent on The Big Island.

Woowee! That's one beautiful guitar and a fabulous report from Keola Beamer. Wish I could have been in that auditorium.
