Hi!
I have loved Hawaii (I've visited 4 times) and Slack Key guitar music since the mid-80s and now hope to *finally* begin learning how to play this lovely style of music.
I would also love to see these boards become more active again, as I miss the islands and would love to talk story with fellow slack key lovers.

Welcome to the Taropatch! I believe this is one of the places that gets little traffic, but none the less, it still has great value for what you can learn here.
Besides, the people who still hang out here tend to be very nice, friendly people, even if no one replied to your introduction before me-they were probably just busy doing life things...that I am pretty free of, considering my age and non-interest in today's social media!
