Yeah, sure. If you are ready for me, I better go read up on where you guys are at with it. I will be more than happy to add bass and steel.

A correction to my Konabob's Steel Guitar page: The song I wrote for my wife, Shirley, is called "Kialiali Ipo". The Hawaiian name "Kialiali" was researched and given to her by Hawaiian cultural expert Leilehua Yuen in 1998 (bright, shining light, like the moon on the water, referring to her wavy silver white hair).

Poi Dog Waltz and Ironwood Moon are my personal favorites among the instrumentals (although they're all good) and Waikiki has been stuck in my head since I first listened to it!

I started tabbing out Ironwood Moon, as you may recall, but got sidetracked. Hopefully I can get back to it soon. One question, though...it's just one guitar/one track, right?

Craig
My goal is to be able to play as well as people think I can.

Craig, thanks for visiting my web site. Ironwood moon is one guitar. One track. I never learned to read tabs or music, so I can't help you out there. Poi Dog Waltz is an adaptation to Dawg Waltz by Dave Grisman - his most fameous renditions would be the one with Jerry Garcia on guitar and Dave on Mandolin. The album "Garcia/Grisman" is remarkable for some of it's acoustic work.

Really looking forward to George Kahumoku's upcoming workshop!!!!!

Yeah, Waikiki--stuck in my head too. Art Akina sounds like composer Andy Cummings returned to life! Love everything about this song. I want to learn the regular guitar part. Hey! Have a great time at George's workshop Konabob.

Thanks Duke. I just ran into Art Akina at "Longs". He is interested in recording some more tunes with me. Really a wonderful gentleman, I can't wait! Sorry we will miss you at Georges, but hey, you have a real gig, right? Have a great weekend!
Aloha,
