I just got "Na Mele Paniolo" from the Honolulu acadamy of arts. Wow, is this ever a good 2 CD and booklet set. I got to hear an older vocal version of Ulupalakua by "Ku'ulei's Own", a great sounding group with excellent wahine vocals. Also got Kindy Sproat's "Na Mele Kupuna". He has the Hawaiian voice I have been longing to hear since I left Hawaii. His CD has a few vocal versions of familiar slack key arrangements as well.
