Do we have dates yet for the June 09 camps?
I especially hope to consider George's Maui ( it seems it moved a week earlier last year) ...and save the dates, airmiles and check flight rates!
Unfortunately, the one in December is before school gets out..but love that area and getting over to Volcanoes NP area.

Wouldn't it be nice to catch some of both camps! but budget's and gigs may limit us to consider that luxury... and then there's the money thing!
The Keauhou is one of our favorite BI stops, if only for a sunset Mai-Tai...and one honeymoon stay, I reckon there's some nearby places that may be cheaper to stay for Aloha's music camp?
I've still not seen the green flash...but not quitting the search. It is real, right? More Mai-Tai's please.

Gordon,
We try to attend both workshops, because that limits us to one plane trip. True, it gets costly, but with the price of air travel now, it makes sense to get the most out of it. So we give up some other trips we might have taken throughout the year.
Now that Aloha Music Camp has separated the workshop cost from the accomodations, you probably could find something more reasonable than the Keahou. We will probably stay there because I don't like to go too far away from all the action. Sometimes the neatest things occur when you least expect it, such as last year's phenomenal late night jam with some fine "old-timers". The bar was already closed. Talk about something special.
Aloha, Julie |
