http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1HV4A5Iodo – Jesse Tinsley gives us a beautiful mele “Poni Aloha”. But if you believe him that he is not good at falsetto, then I can sell you a bridge over the Cuyahoga River.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSrG6WlJApc – Zack (slackkey808) showing how well Ozzie taught him – Slack Key Hula. Zack, you are so very good. You really have talent. Lucky that we get to share it!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcRC3nKa-_Q – Jr. Kekuewa – E Huli Makou

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fez9-PkZ3W4 – The Hula Nanis – Hula o Makee - Kent Ghirard and his Hula Nanis were the IT group in the 40s and 50s. Aunty Winnie and Mae performed at Mark's Garage, October 12, 2008.

This is going to blow you away. Two YOUNG boys playing Classical Gas on `ukulele. Totally amazing. Such young guys. I am almost speechless (ha-ha, I said almost.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIVhaXBT8SQ And here they are starting out the holiday season with Silent Night. These kids are good enough to be recorded. Seriously. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDOearRtjDw

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTkXLmAbXi8 – Some rowdy dude noodling around on `ukulele at the Kona Brewing Co. I think he is playing some unknown song called “Morning Dew”.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNd0gzN-zzM – Jasmine Idica

In case any of you folks are uneducated like me, it is not THREE scoops of Aloha, it is 3 Scoops of Aloha. That has got to be why when I have googled three scoops, I get nothing.

Oh, yes, Kupaoa are top notch. What voices! Where did you order? From Auntie Maria?

Also - here is another I forgot to post. I am sorry, Jr., Auntie is makule.

Have had the pleasure of hearing Kupaoa perform the past 2 or 3 years as part of Kumu Hula Patrick Makuakane's annual halau (Na Lei Hulu I Ka Wekiu) show at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. In my humble opinion, Kupaoa is definitely a top notch group with beautiful renditions of traditional mele. If I recall correctly, they perform regularly at the "Aku Bone Lounge & Grill" in Honolulu...
