It is kinda weird. There have been no active topics about slack key for a while already.

More than just Duke, there are several missing persons. We miss all of them, and their input. The fire has gone dim. "The ahi died in the Hale Kuke."-Del Beazley

People have other priorities in their lives from time to time. We can only hope that they are busy with positive activities, rather than unpleasant circumstances. The contributions of those who presently have time for this forum are of no less value than those who have chosen to put their attention to other endeavors. The fire burns strong, tended by many.

How much of a geek do you take me for?

Wait - don't answer that ... I AM a geek. Though I've never read LOTR (despite starting to, twice --- then again, it took me three tries before I finally got through all of The Gulag Archipelago), nor have I seen the films.

See what you've been missing, Gregg? Lord of the Rings alters your mind, it gets under your skin, and gives you an excuse to talk like Gandalf.

Maybe it's the wrong genre of geekdom.
