Thank you to all who came out to the April 9th workshop - it was a full house of people who learned probably the single most popular strumming pattern out there and a sampling of songs that fit it perfectly. Got a lot of great response and will surely offer it again in the near future so stay tuned!
What the heck is "chunking"? Learn this fun and important technique Saturday, April 30th, in Redondo Beach
For this next workshop, we're going to focus specifically on left and right hand muting techniques, also known as "chunking" (Oh how I hate that term! Who made that up??) and will show you how to apply this technique to a wide variety of songs to add authenticity and FUN!
Students must provide their own 'ukulele (concert/tenor size is best), please bring something to jot notes down in and a music stand as well, if you have one. There will be handouts. Prior knowledge of basic chords and strumming is preferred.
