| Ditto Don's statement. I got a lot out of it. And I appreciate Cyril's generous demeanor and his desire to pass on what he has. He says he has a few young students in Hawai'i and that is nice to know that the torch is being passed on. |

| This group were great volunteers at the Seattle slack Key Festival.. always willing to help out and further the cause of Hawaiian music and Slack Key. What a great bunch of people. |

We had a fun session this afternoon and evening. Uncle Danny joined us, plus delightful newbies Jack & Helen. We enjoyed some nice music, lots of aloha, and a superb kanikapotluck. I don't think one could ask for more than that!

For those who think about the Kona Kitchen kanikapila, think hard about coming this Saturday morning. We're hoping to have a visitor from O`ahu, someone who is involved with the recent local music visits with the HVCB (and needs to meet more of the fine Hawaiian music players up this way). We gotta get him to play along with us, so I'm bringing an extra `ukulele.
Cancel that thought; he can't make it. But the regular crowd should! |
