September calendar should be what passes for normal around here: 1st & 3rd Saturdays (Sept 1 & 15). |

That was a sweet 6 or so hours of kanikapila today/tonight (make that yesterday already). Mahalo nui to Chan, Kai & Ken for driving across the state from Spokane to join us. You guys ended up with a couple more hours of total driving than the music, but we sure loved getting to know you and playing together.
A hui hou! Don |

No rockets? Couldn't afford it? TSA wouldn't let them through wearing masks? Realized it wasn't worth the effort cuz no trash cans on moon?
Good question, Al, I must continue to give this much thought. |

Dang . . . our sessions keep sounding sweeter & sweeter! We were fortunate to attract first-timers Jill & Nancy up from Tacoma with their ukes and strong voices. With much of the usual gang on hand, including Laurie on bass, things were sounding downright lush. Pretty neat when it suddenly seems like there's a choir is in the house!
Next month's kanikapilas will be Dec. 1 & 15. In the meantime, I trust all will enjoy their Turkey Thursdays, Black Fridays, and Cyber Mondays.

Quick reminder . . . 'tis the eve of the next time we make merry (12/1 @ 3:30-ish). Feel free to join in on the fun.
