Then I guess I better make my monthly reminder at this point: Only gonna be one kani in August...the SECOND Saturday (11th). Gots conflicts for all the other weekends (sigh, so much in demand <GG>)

Well, it's changed already (for the better, I think): add 3rd Saturday (the 18th) as well as 2nd...at least till something else happens <hehehe>

If you're stuck in Washington this weekend (thus making the Waimea Valley Kanikapila hard to get to), don't forget that this Saturday (8/18) is August's 2nd kanikapila at the home of Neeej. The nahenahe music will help you take your mind off of our heat wave. Cold beer could help, too, of course.

Great to see Dr. Cookie and Jean at the last Kani. I know you guys have been real busy with all the gigs you have going on! Maybe you could post some of them in advance? Rich

Hey Rich, you know we only show up to keep you happy...and when can! Let's see, our next event is a big lu`au this Saturday at the Morman church in Lakewood. After that we pau for a while, but we'll keep you posted as things come up. I suppose you want one of the autographed 8x10 glossy head shots, too?

Yes, Rich, of course . . . and I have an crude, heavy-duty engraving tool that should work very nicely on either of your custom guitars!
