E kala mai, but I can't seem to make the kahako appear when I want it to, as I think I've told you before. But I was just wondering if my name has one over the first a. I ask because even though it is a translation of the English name Alex, it is also a place name and I have seen a few people with that name who spell it with the kahako on the first a. But that's probably because Hawaiian people in their families gave them that name instead of translating it from English. Does my name technically have one in the same place because you can find the name in a Hawaiian dictionary?
