Tanks, eh.

If you like dance, play and have won good time go try kachi-kachi music. Kachi-kachi music is Puerto Rican dance music oa Hawaiian music wid won bad attitude but you can dance and da kumu hula not goin trow spears at you. Den again she might chuck won at you anyway fo fun.
Da term kachi-kachi comes Japanese and means dry or scratchy. As how da kepanee wen discribe da Puerto Rican dance music from da plantation daze in 1900 wen da firs Puerto Ricans came ova I tink waz on da Mayflowa. Dat waz da firs and biggest migration of dem, had couple small kine afta. Sometimes we callem boudinki music coz das what da old time Puerto Ricans wen call dem selves.
Dey came ova hea like everybody else fo work da plantation coz had won mean hurricane in 1900 wen wipe out da island, so no mo house no mo work ova dea. So dey came ova hea won time. Da olden daze, you know plantation time, sometimes afta you hanahana (work) all day still get energy fo play music and dance lidat. Alla da pepo wen had dat in da olden daze. Already long time in Hawai had da Spanish music but waz kinda slow, had waltzes lidat anda folk music yeah.
But wen da boudinkis came, hello, it became wonnada ball game, dey added juice coz you know dey like scoa anden n jez hav won good time. Instead a counting foa or tree fo dance. Dey count eight won measure wid emphasis on 1,5 and 7 so waz kinda difrent yeah how you had to move yo feet. Waz like dey when learn how fo boogie befoa had boogie, but dey callem seis, danza, merengue, guaracha, cucaracha and cockaroach. Da buggas could play and dance wid da bes of dem guyz, dey make plany noise dance real fas anden dance real slow kine wen dey trying fo make out. Its da bes kachi-kachi, but you know jes like da shadow at nite time alla da buggas wen disapea. Hahd fo fine Boudinqueros nowdays. Jez like da Spanish guyz in da old daze dey jez wen disapea.

Hehe...is funny 'cuz da (well, some but not ALL) pochos, claim to be espaniols. Da borinkis claim to be pochos, except barrabas. Da espaniols make shua nobody call 'em pochos. "Excuse me, I am esPanish, not Portugueeezeee." Tanks to my granfaddah (my muddah's faddah), I still can claim fame as being paht pocho.

Well, I made da sausage gravy and creamy eggs for dinnah last night. But nomo biscuits. I decided fo make homemade bread. Bread was good. Sausage & Gravy not a good thing for my na`au. Not going make dat nomo. I cannot seem to eat greasy stuff nomo. I get nomo gallbladdah. Plop-plop fizz fizz.
Today I going make baked skinless boneless chicken breasts. Redemption. or Pennanance.
Getting 8 inches snow. Paul just called he got to work OK but he said the roads were bad, bad, bad. Now instead putting salt on da roads foah melt da snow, dey put salt waddah, beet juice and calcium chloride. What da heck? Why you spray icy roads with liquid fo get moah icy? Maybe dese da same guys what sent mongoose to Hawai`i.
Is it true da wild kangaroos on O`ahu? We had one tour guide one time say da kangaroos was deah when one circus came visit da islands. Den when time put da crittaz back on da ship fo go away, da kangaroos wen escape coz dey like da `aina. And da guide say dey multiply (i.e., baby kangaroos, not 2 x 2 = 4) so now can hunt kangaroos on O`ahu.
Or was he mek A from da tourists? |

Got deer & pheasants in the freezer. Wanda won't eat deer, but I think she might eat some pheasant. Tastes like chicken, any how. Paul |
