But Paul's Ma knew he was off work that day so she left a list of chores for him to do for her. So after we wen get married, on da way to owah new apartment for, uh, well, for "celebrate" being married togeddah, we stopped at the dry cleaners to drop off Ma's laundry. Dat's owah romantickal story.

I have a cousin who was born on Halloween, but I never knew nobody named for it. On the other hand, I have known hundreds of kane's & wahine's who had no Hawaiian blood in them. Most of Ohio stay no mo da kine.

How I can make a stir fry wit out da ting get limp like one Salvador Dali painting. Tastes ono but not like in da restaurant. I tried fo stir fry each vejabo separate and da meat separate and den put togeddah and da buggah stay come limp an uglee. I put onion - come OK by itself. Den I cook shiitake and button mushrooms. Dey came OK by deyself. Den I cook da baby bok choy an da pea pods, dat come good by deyself. Den I cook da gahlic and da jinjah liddo bit and den put da beef. Da beef I wen marinate in shoyu gahlic and liddo bit toasted sesame oil. Den I drain da marinade and toss da pipi wit kohnstach. Den I chow da pipi, push da pipi up da sides da wok den add liddo bit hoisin in a middo. I cook dat fo liddo bit cause soomeone tole me no use "raw hoisin" gotta cook it in da wok liddo bit or taste raw. Den I add all da veg back and add liddo bit bean sprouts. And that is when da buggah really look watery. But I washed my bean sprouts in ice water, drained them and even patted them dry with paper towels, but.

Wot den?

How big wok I need? Dis one pretty beeg, but I no feed Samoan, oni me & Paul. Do I need cook higher temp? I put da dai-o almos to da highest.

I will not rest until I can make a decent stir fry. I mua!

Mebbe I put too much stuffs?

Try meat first with oil and garlic and ginger with shoyuand oyster sauce when da meat half way cok add the thick veggies like carrot green peppers celery. Of course allstay chop up small kine. two minutes then add leafy stuff. 1 minute.Have corn starch dissolved awreddy and add that too fo make da gravy all in all about 7-8 minutse den put um in a bowll. If you make noodles cook separate and when pau put um in a bowl ad put da oddah stuff on top. Enjoy. Too me oyster sauce mo ono but can put shoyu and hoi sin if you like.Thatʻs onlyoneway fo make dis kine food. Jus remembah veggies only need beheated up not ober cooked.

Wanda,

High heat da secret. No can on da letric kine stove- da buggah no get nuff heat. Try check out da professionals- dey get makun kine gas burnah, like big enough fo heat one pua'a loa stewpot, den onli one bitty wok. Wen dey trow in da grines, lille bit lidat, da oil so hot da buggah flame.

Sad ting- I nomoa Gaspro makun burnah ovah hea, onli lectric stove like you. So- peanut oil, onli kine can take da heat, wid lille bit sesame fo flavah. High heat, big burnah, lille wok. Now hea da ting- sugah, salt, dey hemu da watah outta da grines. Den you get one stir steam, nomoa one stir fry- come all limp. Da stove no moa nuff heat foa evaporate da wai quick enough. So no moa seasonings in da fry- cook um on da side, den trow um on top wen pau. Not da same, but..

Onli oddah ting can do is get da kine gas burnah an do um right.

Chris

Mahalo, Al and Chris - Yeah, I get electric stove, nomo ahi wela. I got a ceramic cook top to make em easy fo clean da bugga, no mo drip pans, etc. Yes, easy wonderful fo keep clean, jus wipe da buggah. Also good if you need summo countah top cause kitchen too small. But not good fo stir fry. I think I cannot make a good one at home, just have to get take out or go to restaurant. Hey Al, I will check out dat restaurant wen we go ova deah. Mahalo fo da tip.

Chris - Auntie Wanda no foget you did not put baby picha on heah. Wot, we gotta wait fo baby lu`au? She be goin pre-skoo befo we get see. You old buggah, you should be struttin' around crowin like one roostah, get da baby girl at you age.
