| I had one friend, had one gas fired wok. Ho! Da ting was giant, could cook one whole pork roast insai. Azz what we did, in da order Al wen say. Da pork all cube up, browned, den da onions, den da garlic, da ginger, da shoyu, Sarocha sauce, brown sugar, one beeg pot rice. ONO! |

If I put da wok outsai on da gas grill, could I get it hot enough?
This week I am making stuffed cabbage. Paul is going to make some pheasants. I told him I would "try" it -- ah dunno. They look like scrawny chicken to me. He is outsai right now going to pulehu some rib steaks. First time this year for da charcoal grill. Today it is 70 degrees.
And how about the oddah day the Cleveland Indians wen beat the Yankees at the new stadium. (No talk about the next day when da Yankees beat da Indians. At least Grady wen hit a grand slam fo da Indians on da first day). |

| Try make cake noodles (min biang) cripsy outsai sof insai. First you boil da noodles den drain um and put insai da fry pan wit peanut oil fry til crpsy den huli and do da same ting on da oddah sai. Whoa broke da mout wen you put da stir fry stuff on top. |

What happened to the one where he stay slurping da noodles ova and ova and ova......
They showed on Food channel where one Pake guy make noodles, ho, amazing. Italian noodle making just not quite the same. The Italians roll the dough out on a gadget called a chitarra (like a paisan style guitar) for cut out the noodles. |

Las week I wen visit my sick bruddah in Kaneohe...No not da pupule hale, but he live Kaneohe by da Memorial Park.
Anyways, from dea, straight Waimalu branch Chun Wah Kam (I nevah like go into town, but I tink Char Hung Sut was close awreddy). One dozen char siu steam manapua, half-dozen baked, 2 dozen pork hash, half-dozen half-moons and 4 steam 9-layer rice cake an....fo da win, one double order roas-tuk cake noodle. Almos miss my plane home. Lucky bruddah in blue unda da ovahpass on da murdacycle was undastanding...also 'cause my name kinda familia in cop circles, but in da good way LOL! 
At da airport, da TSA guy wen give me da look...Sista on HawaiianAir wit 6 hawaiian bracelets on each hand, she had one mout watering look, "Uncle, I can come eat your house?" Oni if you one termite...Nah, nah, nah, I said shua. But she nevah come. Took me 2 days wit da kids ovah fo eat all dat... |
