| Eh, notting wrong wit planning ahead. Been long time since I wen eat adobo. Get pancit at NWFolklife plus da BBQ pork skewers. I erry time get da Pilipino kine grinds at least one day. Salmon an' shrimp jambalaya at one oddah stand. Meat pies, brats, BBQ brisket, I stay HUNGRY! Almos' time fo cook! An' no fo'get da pie-baked-in-a-bag. Good t'ing we gotta holoholo walk feets an' burn da calories. |

We had moose on a stick at the ukulele workshop yesterday, courtesy of Dr.Sam, who went holo holo mokulele to Labrador & made meat. Was ono. Unko Paul |

Ho, stay long time I nevah wen step insai da lo'i. 18 mont, I tinks. Dis why- auntie Wanda like bebe picha, an I stay shame neva like figgah how fo post um. Speshly wen she wen tell me how.
Nodda ting- ebry time I stay in da lo'i, I like go home. Six yeah, an I onli wen visit couple time. Tink I stay foget how fo tak da kine.
Bu' u buggahs stay talk dinuguan. Las time I wen tri um, waz numbah 50 fo my hanai dad, Jackie Kaholoa'a. He wen say "stay tired Hawaiian gines- I like Pilipino kine dis time!" So I stay help dose ol pilipino buggahs, cut meat lidat. Wen dey like make da pig, firs wen cut da troat, catch da blood. Loud, dat. Chicken, too, dey like all da parts. Dey like keep everyting but da hair an da feather.
Pilipine kine grines li dis- get meat, meat, meat, an mo meat. Den dey staht in on da meats. Den, get meat. On da end, lilbit bakalau salad. Dis da ting, but- lilbit blood meat fo da pahty, but da dinuguan, milk gut, cockscomb soup, some kine squah blood wid vinigah dey nevah like cook- all da ono stuffs, dat neveah leave da kitchen. Fo da gest, dey nevah like help so all dey goine get is da junk- all dat meat we like tro away on da table fo dem.
I like get da good kine stuffs ovah nea, but no can, onli da junks- steak an li dat. Das why haad, no? |
